University-based Publishing


Today’s research libraries contribute to the creation, curation, and publication of scholarship through a variety of services. Many university presses have a reporting relationship with their libraries, have their own scholarly publishing operations, and/or provide services for the publication and deposit of research data and associated materials. ARL works with university presses, library publishers, and scholar-led communities to collaboratively rethink business models to advance open, equitable, accessible scholarship.
